For Dad

It's my Dad's birthday next weekend and he's off to climb the Matterhorn, again. Always so nervous when he's away on these trips, but it's his thing. The solitude of climbing along the ridge of a mountain I can only imagine. Though going by the way his eyes light up as he tells us of his trips, that solitude sounds incredible.

Painted using acrylics and goache on acrylic paper.

That's beautiful Tracy, you can can feel the cold and the solitude. I love the way his shoulders are slightly rounded forward, giving a look of determination. He'll love it!

Nice work tracy, like the composition and the strokey sky, the painting does give the sense of adventure, which is why id say ur dad does the slog up the mountain ;)
